Wow! This is my first official blog post of 2020! Why not start the New Year off with a few of my favorite things. If you’re new to the blog, this is a compilation of items that I am enjoying at the time and want to share with you. Feel free to comment if you have tried any of the items on my Fab Five!
Bigelow Green Tea with Peach
The Bigelow brand is the go-to brand for our household when it comes to tea. I mentioned my love for their chai vanilla latte flavor previously. This peach flavored tea has surpassed the chai vanilla latte. It has a mellow green tea flavor with a hint of peach. Green tea does have caffeine, but not as much as coffee. Unless you drink more than a cup it shouldn’t give you the jitters.
Time And Tru Women’s Long Sleeve Crew Tee
I am not a big fan of winter weather. Mid-fall I decided I would make sure I wasn’t caught in the winter weather without cold weather essentials. I don’t know about you, but for me it is so hard to find simple tops for a low-cost. I decided to stop by Wal-mart and see what they had to offer. I purchased two of the Time and Tru long sleeve shirts and two Time and Tru sweaters. They have been great purchases. They have held up wash after wash. Also, they are super comfortable.
Chris Stapleton
This is probably the oddball on my list (there usually is at least one). I am not a country music fan at all. I think Chris Stapleton’s music is the only country music I have went out of my way to listen to. Chris has more of a blues sound to me and I think that’s what I like about him. I also really like the lyrics to his songs. Some of my favorite songs of his are When The Stars Come Out, Was It 26, and Sometimes I Cry.
Weekend Workouts
I love working out in the mornings. However, it is not easy to make it to the gym during the work week. So many of the times if I want to workout during the work week I have to do so at home. On the weekend I make sure to hit up the gym. I love driving on the open streets to and from the gym. I love that the gym is relatively empty. It’s a smooth experience all around. It’s also a moment of self-care for me.
Target – Women’s Lei Microsuede Sherpa Sneakers Booties – Universal Thread
I mentioned above that I had to get ready for the winter weather. I stopped by Target to see what they had available. These microsuede sherpa boots were a great find. They are very comfortable. I receive compliments on them all the time. I purchased them during one of Target’s sales on footwear. However, the current price, of $38, isn’t expensive for a cute pair of boots.
