My Favorite Drugstore Makeup

I’m all about looking my best while saving money. It should come as no surprise that my favorite makeup can be purchased at the local drugstore. Here are a few of my favorite inexpensive beauty treats.

Maybelline Great Lash $5

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

This particular mascara has been around for years. The simplicity of the Maybelline Great Lash mascara is what I like about it and why I keep coming back to it. I’ve tried several different brands of mascara with different variations of wands. However, nothing compares to the basic width and just-right length of the Great Lash wand. The formula also rinses away easily (unless of course you use the waterproof formula).

Freeman face mask $6

This line of facial masks is a staple for my at-home spa days. I’ve used different Freeman mask types over the years. My favorite is the avocado and oatmeal clay mask. It leaves my face clean and soft. If you don’t want to commit to the full size bottle, there are usually one-use packages available.

Maybelline Brow Drama $6

Maybelline Brow Drama

I’ve been filling in my eyebrows since I was in high school. This brow mascara is the best thing I’ve used to fill in my brows. I use this by itself when I want a simple natural look. I combine this with a brow pencil (also by Maybelline) when I want to define my brows.

Spectrum Organic Virgin Coconut Oil $7

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is one of my makeup staples that I have to drift to the other aisles in the drugstore to find. I use coconut oil to remove my makeup at the end of the day. A little goes a long way which helps make the price worth it. It clings to makeup and rinses away leaving a smooth non-oily face. Also, it’s natural which makes it better for your skin.

That’s it folks! What are a few of your drugstore makeup favorites?
