Hey y’all!

I’m a planner! I wholeheartedly admit to that. So it should come as no surprise that I have already began adding items to my planner for 2016. I have a few events and places on the list that I didn’t get to in 2015 and have rolled over into 2016 and of course some new interesting events and places have been added to the agenda as well.
While pumping myself up for things to come, I decided to take a moment and reflect on the places that I have had the opportunity to experience from the previous year. Here are my Top 3!
3. Pops – Arcadia, OK
To me Pops is a hidden gem in Oklahoma. I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant and convenience store. It’s a Route 66 spot which makes it cooler. The giant soda bottle is a cool landmark for photos. The selection and variety of soda available is amazing. If you haven’t stopped by the place, please find the time to do so! See the blog post and YouTube vlog for this here.
2. Turner Falls – Davis, OK
Turner Falls was a wonderful experience, even in the rain. The city of Davis is in the middle of the state. The drive to the park was long but a great opportunity for me to see the land in that area. Despite the weather, the location was awesome. The trails and waterfall were definitely the highlight of the trip. I can’t wait to visit this place again in nicer weather. The blog post and YouTube vlog of this trip can be found here.
1. St.Louis, MO
The Show Me State was so much fun! The trip was a short but O So Sweet. We (my husband and I) did a ropes course, toured the Budweiser Brewery and ate some delicious food. Everyone we encountered was polite and helpful. We never felt out of place there. My only regret is we ran out of time there. I would have loved to spend at least one more day there.
There ya go! My Top 3 places adventures from last year. Thanks for taking the time to read the post. You’re awesome! Yes YOU reading this.
