Summer Prep

Whether you like it or not, summer is creeping up on you. The time is coming for shorts, sandals, tank tops, and maxi dresses. Here are a few tips for what to wear, how to make your skin look the best, and how to add some newness to your life.

Add a Pop of Color

Now is the time to spice up your life! The best way to do that is by refreshing your wardrobe with new colors. You don’t have to toss out all your old clothes. Simply get a few new basics, like camisoles or skirts, in vibrant hues and you’re set. Also consider adding a few pops of color to your home decor.

Prepare to Go Bare

If you’ve been slacking on exfoliating your skin, now’s the time to get back into the routine. Exfoliation helps to remove dry, dead skin. Leaving you with smoother and radiant skin. Also, beef up your moisturize game. It’s easy to forget to moisturize during the warmer months. However, your skin needs all the help it can get with hot, humid, and muggy days ahead. Besides ashy-ness is not flattering on anyone.

In With The New

It’s time to add some “newness” to your routine. Find a new hobby. Think about your interests and let that be your guide. Or maybe find a new gym to go to. If your workout is feeling stale, it might be time to move on. Maybe you’re in a need of a new job. Check out the job market you’re interested in, refresh your resume, and start putting yourself out there.

I hope these tips are helpful to you. This can be an awesome summer if you make it one!
