Hey y’all! Let’s get caught up really quickly so you will know what I have been up to. The last time I posted to the blog was in October. There’s no real excuse for my absence other than I was feeling very burnt out mentally and it was effecting my creativity. So I took the remainder of the year to relax and let new ideas for the blog flow in naturally. What can I say, everyone needs a break from time-to-time.
Now let’s get to the title of this post.
While perusing through Pinterest one day I came across a link to a blog post by Sivan Ayla. The original post was “50 Healthy Habits Every Girl Should Consider“. Now initially I wasn’t going to read it because 50 seemed like a lot to remember. However, I went through the list and found several to be very helpful to me. Most of the habit suggestions were pretty simple but were things that we can easily overlook in our day-to-day lives. I decided to take 10 of the habits and elaborate on them more in a YouTube video on my channel.
The 10 that caught my eye were (in no particular order):
- Start fresh everyday
- Check your finances often
- Put down your phone when you’re with people
- Cut back on sugar
- Don’t try to keep up with the Joneses, you’ll lose
- Take care of your clothing
- Make your home a place you want to be
- Stand up for yourself
- Don’t skimp on sleep
- Prioritize stress management
I think these are all great suggestions that can contribute to you having a successful 2017. Some may seem minor, but the small things add up. Take the time to read the original article by Silva Ayla. There may be a few habits out of the 40 others that you may find more helpful to you and want to apply to your lifestyle this year.
