A Chilly Day At The Myriad Botanical Gardens

This weekend my husband and I had the pleasure of visiting the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK. The gardens are located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City or better known as Bricktown. The Myriad Gardens were modeled after the Tivoli Gardens of Denmark. However, it wasn’t formally named, the Myriad Gardens,  until years later. Several features of the landmark are ponds, waterfalls and the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory.

The gardens have a large variety of plants. Of course due to the amount of plants, the gardens are home to several animals and insects. One of the most popular guests of the gardens are the ducks.

The Myriad Botanical Gardens hosts horticulture classes, health & wellness retreats, yoga and during the winter months they have an ice skating rink available for family fun.

The Myriad Botanical Gardens are open 7 days a week and the cost of admission is as follows:

Adults – $8

Seniors – $7

Active Military – $7

Students with student ID – $7

Children (4-12yr) – $5

Children (under 4yrs) – FREE

*The garden grounds are free

For more information visit the Myriad Botanical Gardens website here.

We had an awesome, yet cold, time at the gardens. My favorite part  was the waterfall inside the Tropical Conservatory. We will definitely be making another trip here in the spring. Thanks for reading.
