A Chocolate Lovers Paradise–Muskogee Habitat for Humanity Home Sweet Home Chocolate Festival

The 9th Annual Muskogee Habitat for Humanity Home Sweet Home Chocolate Festival was held on February 7th at the Muskogee Oklahoma Civic Center.  The event is an opportunity for the community to come together and raise money for a good cause.  A silent auction was put on with all money raised going to Habitat for Humanity.  The entrance was $15 in advance and $20 at the door.  The entry allows for all the chocolate treats and beverages you can handle. The entertainment for the night was the band Reversing Radio. Companies sponsoring the event set up booths and handed out chocolate goodies of all kinds, from petit fours to chocolate covered bacon (which was not too bad). Some of the businesses that participated were BancFirst, Creek Nation Casino, Georgia-Pacific, CASA, LIMU Energy Drinks and American Cancer Society. I got the opportunity to get some information about upcoming Oklahoma businesses. There was a great turn out. It was good to see so many people show up. This will be something on my to do list for next year. I apologize for not taking enough pictures…my hands were full and I was grubbin’!
