Random stop at The Guthrie Green Sunday Farmer’s Market

I decided to stop by the Farmer’s Market held every Sunday at Guthrie Green in Downtown Tulsa. I had heard about the farmer’s market but I always seem to forget about it or was too busy to go….BUT NOT TODAY. I headed out (on a very warm August day I must add) with the boyfriend and camera in tow. In spite of the heat there was a decent sized crowd gathered. Vendors were waiting with patience and smiles. Musicians were setting up when we arrived. The splash pad was full of kids cooling down from the heat. One of my favorite food trucks, The Local Table,  was serving up “good eats”. I have to say that anytime I spot them at an outdoor event I have to stop by. You definitely get your monies worth at that food truck. Then we swung by Josh’s Sno Shack to top off the meal with a delicious snow cone…and cool off–did I mention it was hot?!!

The Farmer’s Market on the Guthrie Green will be open every Sunday (10am-2pm) from now until October then it’s bye-bye until next year. Since I’m kinda late to the party…have you been to the farmer’s market? If so how was your experience? If you have and think I should try another one somewhere else let me know. Comment below!!
